North Yorkshire County Council Elections June 4th 2009

This June we are contesting all seven seats in the Craven area in the North Yorkshire County Council elections.

Your Labour candidates are:

James Austin - Ribblesdale

Robert Battison - South Craven

James Black - Mid Craven

Christine Brackley - North Craven

Graeme Hitchen - Airedale

Peter Madeley - Skipton West

Duncan Hall - Skipton East

Please pose questions to any of our candidates in the comments section below and we will endeavour to answer you as soon as possible.

This year we are standing on:

· Protecting our environment
· Improving public transport and road safety
· Excellent education for all and fair access
· Commitment to recycling
· Sound finances and responsible local government

We urge everybody to vote in the County Council and European elections. A low turnout helps the fascist BNP.

hi to all bloggers, please ensure that you make your vote count in the elections on 4th june 2009.
for the bloggers in craven district council area please note that a number of the councillors who are standing in this election are the same councillors who appear to have left craven district council in a financial mess. dont let them fool you into believing they didnt know, they knew full well what was happening, they are experienced long standing councillors. you the voter decides whether you want more of the same or if you want a change. if you want more of the same then vote for these financially incompetent councillors, if not then give others a chance to sort the mess out and give your vote to the labour party candidates.
